Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor dies at 79
Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor passed away at the age of 79 in Mumbai.
Mumbai: Veteran bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor passed away at the age of 79 in Mumbai. He was admitted in Kokilaben Hospital. He was on dialysis.
Shashi Kapoor was born in Kolkata in 1938 and started his acting career in late 1940s as a child actor.
Kapoor is survived by daughter Sanjana Kapoor and two sons, Kunal Kapoor and Karan Kapoor. Shashi Kapoor and his wife Jennifer Kendal established the Prithvi Theatre in November 1978 in Mumbai. Jennifer died of cancer in 1984.
