New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday said the BJP government would not waste even a single day and that they would fulfill all the promises made by the party before the polls.
Rekha Guptae Assumes Charge as CM
After assuming charge at Delhi Secretariat, she said: I have assumed charge today and the Cabinet meeting has been called this evening. Work will be done continuously towards the mission of Developed Delhi, not a single day will be wasted. Every single promise will be fulfilled."
Earlier in the day, she sworn-in as Delhi's 9th Chief Minister.
Besides, six other MLAs, including Parvesh Sahib Singh, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj Singh, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Kumar Singh, also took the oath as Ministers.
Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena administered them the oath of office and secracy.
