Tragedy at Vijay's Roadshow in Karur

Karur: A major accident occurred today during the roadshow of Tamil film actor and Tamil Vetri Kalagam (TVK) leader Joseph Vijay in Karur. 33 people were deid and over 50 injured in the chaos caused by the overcrowding. Ten of the injured are reported to be in critical condition and have been admitted to a nearby government hospital.

Immediately after the accident, Joseph Vijay interrupted his speech and rescue operations were initiated. Karur District Collector and State Minister Senthil Balaji immediately rushed to the government hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured.
