According to Nikkei Asia, Apple is grappling with rising costs for memory chips and other essential components. By delaying the standard iPhone 18, the company aims to optimize its resources and focus on premium models, which generate higher profits. The delay could also help Apple navigate supply chain challenges more effectively.

This is not the first hint of the iPhone 18 delay.
