US-based smartphone manufacturing giant Apple is just a few weeks away from the launch of its next-generation flagship smartphone lineup, the iPhone 18 Pro series. The series is likely to include iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, whereas reports also suggest that the company will introduce its first ever foldable phone, iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra. The reports and rumours suggest that the device will be launched on September 9. However, the company has not confirmed the launch timeline yet.
The reports claim that the company is not planning a major visual overhaul this year. Instead, the iPhone 18 Pro could focus on the areas users may notice in everyday use: performance, cameras, connectivity, and battery efficiency.
iPhone 18 Pro Expected features and specifications
According to media reports, the device is likely to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of design, the display is likely to look similar to the iPhone 17 Pro with a camera plateau, whereas the company is likely to add a smaller Face ID cutout.
The device is expected to be powered by the latest in-house A20 Pro chipset build on 2nm, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the rear panel of the device is expected to feature a triple camera setup including a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor and a 48MP telephoto sensor with 4x optical zoom. The front panel of the upcoming handset features a 18MP camera for selfie and video calling.
The device is likely to be packed with a 5,000mAh battery, which is going to be the biggest battery in an iPhone ever paired with 40W wired charging support and 20W wireless charging support.

The device is expected to get a price hike compared to the last handset, iPhone 17Pro. The reports and experts claim that the device will cost around 1.24 lakhs.
