New Delhi: Apple iPhones are always a hot topic of discussion regarding their design and color options. This time, reports suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max could feature a new "Deep Red" color. This shade would lend the phone a premium and distinctive look. Interestingly, several Android manufacturers are also reportedly preparing to adopt this trend.

Could the Black Color Be Discontinued?

According to leaks, the classic black color option might not be offered in the Pro series this time around. If this turns out to be true, it would mark the second consecutive year that Apple has opted not to include a black variant in its Pro models. This shift could come as a surprise to many users.

Major Design Overhaul

The front design of the iPhone 18 Pro Max could undergo a complete transformation. The company is reportedly working on under-display Face ID technology. This could result in the Dynamic Island shrinking in size—or potentially being removed entirely—to be replaced by a punch-hole camera cutout.

An Even More Powerful Camera

We can expect to see significant upgrades in the camera department. The new iPhones may feature a mechanical iris and a triple-layer stacked sensor. These enhancements would lead to improved low-light photography, dynamic range, and image processing capabilities.

The Power of the A20 Pro Chip

The new iPhones are expected to be powered by Apple's A20 Pro chip, built on 2 nm process technology. This will result in improvements to both the phone's speed and battery efficiency. According to reports, users could experience a 15% boost in performance and 30% greater efficiency.

Battery and Connectivity Upgrades

The Pro Max model is expected to house a larger battery—approximately 5100mAh—which should significantly improve battery life. Additionally, a new C2 modem is expected to deliver enhanced network speeds and stability. A return of mmWave 5G support in select regions is also a possibility.

Launch and Pricing

The iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to launch in September 2026. Pricing is likely to remain roughly in line with previous models, though a slight increase is possible due to the incorporation of new technologies. Eyes on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8

Samsung is also making headlines with its foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. It is expected to feature an 8-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. While there may not be significant changes in size, the display quality and performance could see improvements over previous models, promising an exceptional gaming and multitasking experience.
