ECINET app debuts in Bihar
New Delhi: The dates of the Bihar Assembly elections have been announced. With this important election in mind, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has taken a major step to make the electoral process more transparent, reliable and simple. The Election Commission has launched a one-stop digital app ‘ECINET’, also being called ‘Mother of All Apps’. The app provides almost all election-related services on a single platform.
The ECINET app integrates more than 40 existing mobile and web applications of the Election Commission together. Through this app, voters, election officials, political parties and other stakeholders will be able to avail all election related information and services. Some modules of the app were already implemented in the by-elections in Kerala, Gujarat, Punjab and West Bengal in June 2025, but it will be used in full capacity for the first time in the Bihar elections.

Voter Registration: Updating new voter registration and existing details will be extremely easy.
Electoral List Check: Voters can check their name in the list with one click.
Voter information: Digital photos will be able to download voter slips and get information about polling stations and election dates.
Candidate Details: Through the ‘Know Your Candidate (KYC)’ feature, it will be possible to view candidates’ information and criminal records.
Complaints and Feedback: Complaints of election violations may be filed with photo or video evidence.
Real-Time Results: Election results and voting percentage information will be received live.
