New Delhi: The launch specifications of the mid-range Galaxy F70 Pro 5G smartphone from the tech giant Samsung have been announced officially. The new model will make its India debut on August 3 and will be made available through Flipkart and the Samsung official e-commerce website.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will be launched as a premium display phone in the budget of ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 for smartphones.
The smartphone will be available in three storage configurations:
Samsung is also expected to announce launch-day offers, including bank discounts and exchange benefits, which could reduce the effective purchase price.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen that has a refresh rate of 120Hz and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
In terms of processing, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, coupled with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
When it comes to taking photos, the smartphone has a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), as well as a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Moreover, there is a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
Finally, the smartphone has a 6,000mAh battery with a fast-charging option up to 45W.
Galaxy F70 Pro 5G has Android 16 operating system and One UI 8.5 interface along with a guarantee of six years of software and security updates from Samsung.
The phone, having an AMOLED display, good battery capacity, and software longevity, could turn out to be a serious candidate in the mid-range category. Yet, it would be wise to wait until the official launch deals.
