New Delhi: ServiceNow has introduced two new artificial intelligence solutions designed to help enterprises identify automation opportunities, build AI-powered workflows and scale them across different business functions.
The company announced AI Workflow Factory and Autonomous Engineer at its World Forum event in Mumbai on Tuesday, positioning the new offerings as tools to help businesses overcome fragmented systems and ageing infrastructure while accelerating AI adoption.
AI Workflow Factory and Autonomous Engineer are designed to help organisations move beyond individual AI experiments and integrate automation into broader business operations. ServiceNow said the solutions can help companies identify processes that can benefit from AI, develop workflow improvements and deploy them across departments while maintaining oversight of critical decisions. The company is also integrating governance through its AI Control Tower platform, which is designed to provide greater visibility and control over enterprise AI deployments.
AI Workflow Factory brings process analysis, workflow creation and deployment capabilities into a continuous improvement framework. The platform uses process-mining technology to identify potential areas for optimisation. Once opportunities are identified, Autonomous Engineer and other AI capabilities can assist in developing, testing and deploying changes to business workflows.
This approach is aimed at helping enterprises move faster from identifying inefficiencies to implementing automated processes.
Autonomous Engineer forms a key part of ServiceNow’s latest AI push, helping organisations develop and implement workflow changes with greater speed. The company said businesses can use its AI capabilities to automate tasks across departments while retaining human oversight over important decisions and outcomes. The focus is on combining automation with governance rather than replacing human control over critical business processes.
ServiceNow said the new solutions could be particularly useful in highly regulated sectors, including banking, financial services, insurance and telecommunications.
Businesses operating in these industries often require strong audit trails, visibility and control when deploying new technologies. ServiceNow said its governance approach is intended to address those requirements as enterprises expand their use of AI.
Industry partners also backed the initiative, highlighting the potential for businesses to move from isolated AI projects towards broader enterprise-wide adoption.
ServiceNow pointed to data from its 2026 Enterprise AI Maturity Index, which indicated that enterprise AI investment in India increased 119 per cent over the previous year. The company said the growth reflects rising demand among Indian businesses for technologies capable of converting AI investments into measurable operational and commercial outcomes.
Amit Zavery, President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, said businesses are increasingly focused on how quickly AI can deliver measurable improvements while remaining safe and scalable. The latest product announcements reflect ServiceNow’s broader strategy of positioning AI as an operational technology rather than simply an experimental tool.
With enterprises increasingly looking to scale AI across departments, the company is betting that workflow automation combined with governance will become a key part of the next phase of enterprise AI adoption.
