Vivo T5 Lite 5G launched in India (credit:X)
Chinese smartphone manufacturing brand Vivo is expanding its portfolio in India. The company has recently launched the all-new T5 Lite 5G in India, adding another budget 5G device in T5 series. Vivo aims to target customers who are willing to switch to 5G handset with a limited budget.
The newly launched handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and packs with a massive 5,500mAh battery supported by 44W wired fast charging.
Vivo T5 Lite 5G is one of the most affordable devices in the T5 line-up. The company has introduced the device in three storage variants. The base variant offering 4GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage is priced at Rs 19,999; the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 21,999 whereas the high-end storage variant offering 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is launched at Rs 24,999.
The handset will go on sale on 22nd July through e-commerce platform Flipkart. The early buyers can also avail introductory bank discount of Rs 1,500 and pick the device in Twilight Shadow or Web Blue.

The device features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The device also offers an IP65 certification for resistance against dust and water.
The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 16 based on Origin OS 6.
In terms of optics, the rear panel features a 50MP paired with a basic 0.08MP sensor whereas the front panel features a 5MP camera for selfie and video calling.
In terms of connectivity, the device features 5G SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, and basic connectivity features.
