Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Swiss President Doris Leuthard held extensive talks on bilateral, regional and international issues and also discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in combating tax evasion and black money.
The Commander-in-Chief briefed the Prime Minister about bilateral defence and security cooperation. He also condemned the recent terrorist attack on pilgrims of the Amarnath Yatra and expressed condolence for the victims.
“Being a Kashmiri, Saifuddin is much more aware about Burhan Wani’s matter. There are Wani’s supporters in large number. One cannot solve any matter on gunpoint. Instead of firing on people, the Prime Minister must hold bilateral talks with people of Valley,” INC leader Mani Shankar Aiyar said.
MEA announced that Prime Minister Modi will visit Portugal on June 24 and The Netherlands on June 27 to take bilateral economic, trade and other relations with these two countries forward.
