The fire at the ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub in Goa had claimed the lives of 25 people, including 20 staff members and 5 tourists.
Goa Police have initiated efforts to bring back the absconding Luthra brothers. According to reports, the police have sought help from Interpol to bring back the two brothers who fled to Thailand. The police want to issue a Blue Corner Notice against these two accused to facilitate their extradition to India.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has issued orders to demolish the nightclub. The previous day, the police had issued an Interpol notice against the club’s two owners, Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra.
On Saturday, 25 people died in a sudden fire at the ‘Birch By Romeo Lane’ nightclub in Arpora, North Goa. The investigation revealed that the materials used for decoration inside the club were highly flammable.
