New Delhi: A horrific fire at the 'Birch Boy Romeo Lane' nightclub in Arpora, Goa, has shocked everyone. Initially, a cylinder blast was believed to be the cause of the fire, but now several major revelations have emerged regarding the incident.

25 people lost their lives in the fire that broke out at the nightclub on Saturday night. Most of the deaths were due to suffocation. The deceased included 5 tourists and the rest were staff members.

1. Goa Police reaches Delhi
Goa Police has registered an FIR against the two owners of the nightclub, Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra. An arrest warrant has been issued against them. A team of Goa Police has left for Delhi to arrest them.

2. Police arrest 4 people
According to DGP Alok Kumar, the police have arrested 4 staff members of the nightclub. These include the club's Chief General Manager Rajiv Modak, Gate Manager Priyanshu Thakur, Bar Manager Rajveer Singhania, and General Manager Vivek Singh.

3. Fire caused by electric fireworks
On Saturday night, approximately 150 tourists were present at 'Birch Boy Romeo Lane'. At 11:45 pm, sparks from electric fireworks ignited and fell directly onto the wooden ceiling of the club. The entire club had a wooden ceiling, due to which the fire spread rapidly in the blink of an eye.

4. People trapped in the basement
After the fire broke out, most of the tourists managed to escape. However, there was only one entry and exit point to the club, and the main entrance was also engulfed in flames. Those trapped inside ran towards the basement to save their lives. However, there was no way to exit from the basement. 5. 23 People Died Due to Suffocation
There was no ventilation in the basement, causing the smoke from the fire to fill the entire area. As a result, 23 people died due to suffocation. When the police reached the basement after the fire was brought under control, they were shocked by the scene. All the bodies were piled on top of each other. Two bodies were also found lying on the basement stairs.

6. Employees Were From Different States of the Country
Five tourists and the rest of the staff members were caught in the fire at the nightclub. The club's employees included people from Assam, Bengal, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Nepal, who died in this accident.

7. Club Accused of Violating Regulations
According to the Goa government, the club had no fire safety arrangements. The club promoted itself as an 'Island Club,' and the access road to it was very narrow. Therefore, fire engines had to stop 400 meters away, and the delay in extinguishing the fire led to the loss of many lives.

8. CM Orders Inquiry
This is the first such incident in Goa that has shaken the entire state government. On Sunday morning, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant visited the club and ordered an inquiry. The CM has clearly warned that the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances.

9. President and PM Modi Express Grief
President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also expressed their condolences over the accident at the Goa nightclub.

10. PM Modi Announces Compensation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced compensation of ₹2 lakh for the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
