India’s naval strength received a major boost with the induction of INS Mahe, a state-of-the-art anti-submarine warfare (ASW) ship. Built with over 80% indigenous equipment under Atmanirbhar Bharat, INS Mahe can detect and neutralize underwater threats in shallow and deep waters.
Cochin Shipyard Limited is building anti-submarine warfare warships, the first of which, named Mahe, is named after the historic port city of Mahe in Puducherry and a symbol of India’s rich maritime heritage.
ISRO provided an update on the LVM3-M5/CMS-03 mission in a post on social media. According to ISRO, CMS-03 successfully separated from the rocket, which ISRO described as a perfect ejection.
