Six people, including women, were injured and seven detained after an inter-caste clash broke out at a village near Greater Noida
A 50-year-old restaurant owner was shot dead by unidentified assailants at the Jewar area of Gautam Buddh Nagar on Sunday, police said.
In a major success, the Uttar Pradesh police arrested four men after an encounter in Greater Noida today, in connection with the brutal Jewar gang-rape and murder case.
Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju on Saturday said, “We have granted approval for the Greenfield International Airport at Jewar, Greater Noida, to cater to growing flying requirements of NCR”.
