The Central government on Friday notified the appointment of five permanent judges to the Madras High Court and 15 additional judges to the High Courts of Madras, Calcutta, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. The latest judicial appointments are aimed at improving the judicial strength of the High Courts and addressing vacancies that impact the timely disposal of cases.
