No-confidence motion against Speaker Om Birla deferred as Lok Sabha adjourned till tomorrow
The Lok Sabha was adjourned without taking up the no-confidence motion against Speaker Om Birla after opposition protests over the Gulf crisis. Congress leaders said the priority was discussing the safety of nearly one crore Indians in the Gulf region.
