The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to the Centre and asked it to respond on a batch of petitions seeking a court-monitored probe into the reports of the government allegedly using Israeli software Pegasus to spy on politicians, activists and journalists.
Amid continued protests by the opposition members over Pegasus, farm laws and other issues, Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day and would resume at 11 am on Tuesday.
Asserting that the opposition parties do not want to compromise on the issues of inflation, Pegasus, and farmers’ protest, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that they want discussion over these matters in the House.
