A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, who was arrested for vandalising Periyar’s statue in Tamil Nadu’s Pudukottai, was placed under suspension on Wednesday.
This incident took place a day after the head of Dravidian movement icon, E.V. Ramasamy, popularly known as Periyar, was found in the state’s Pudukottai village.
