A day after rejoining Trinamool Congress (TMC), Mukul Roy on Saturday wrote to the Union Home Ministry seeking the withdrawal of his central security cover, according to the sources.
The security cover of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has been beefed up after a video has been recovered from arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist which reveals reconnaissance of his office in New Delhi, sources said.
Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said he does not need any security cover and dared the BJP to take it back.
