The Election Commission has extended the deadline for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in 12 states and Union Territories by seven days. Voter list revision activities will now be completed according to the revised schedule.
According to the Election Commission, the second phase will include Andaman and Nicobar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
