The Civil Aviation Ministry will hold a meeting with airlines at 4 pm on Wednesday to prepare a contingency plan as a number of flights have been cancelled following the grounding of Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, a senior government official said.
The Centre has announced a slew of measures for the benefit of the start-up community including extending the period of availing start-up benefits to 10 years and increasing the turnover limit to 100 crores.
“I was not the minister when the Air Asia deal happened, so I have really no idea about this,” Praful Patel said.
Arun Jaitley said, “Accountability is a good system in the government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a decision on whatever request the railway minister has made.”
Prabhu took to his Twitter handle to post a thread, “I tried to overcome decades of neglect through systemic reforms in all areas, leading to unprecedented investment and milestones.”
Prabhu took to Twitter to share information on the same and posted, “Have ordered inquiry into the unfortunate accident to ascertain the cause. Strict action will be taken against any lapse”
The incident took place in the evening.
