India will be focusing on maritime security, peacekeeping, and counterterrorism during its presidency of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the month of August.
Indian Ambassador to United Nations TS Tirumurti thanked all UN Member States after India got elected into the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
India has been elected as a member of the United Nation’s Commission on Status of Women, a body of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), said TS Tirumurti, permanent representative of India to the United Nations.
Countries like Pakistan continue to inflict damage by spreading disinformation in context to COVID-19 to foment division and create disharmony among communities, said Indian envoy to the United Nation, Ambassador TS Tirumurti.
