Ankit, a resident of Tidiapur village, drowned in the Ganges during Ganesh immersion a few days ago. Ankit was the sole earning member of his family. Upon learning of this tragic incident, Akhilesh Yadav sent financial assistance of one lakh rupees to the family. He spoke with the deceased's family on mobile phone and assured them of all possible support in the future.

Help For Families Affected By House Collapse

Meanwhile, the wall of a nearly 700-year-old tomb in the Ajaypal Mohalla of the perfume city of Kannauj collapsed, damaging four houses and crushing several bikes. As soon as this news reached Akhilesh Yadav, he immediately sent financial assistance of ₹50,000 each to the families who lost their houses and ₹10,000 each to the bike owners.
