Prayagraj: The legal dispute involving Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has grown more intense after complainant Ashutosh Brahmachari made strong statements in the case.

He claimed that no one can stop Avimukteshwaranand and Mukundanand Brahmachari from going to jail. The matter is currently under investigation, and both sides have made serious allegations against each other in court.

The controversy erupted after an FIR under the POCSO Act was registered against Swami Avimukteshwaranand and Mukundanand Brahmachari at Jhunsi police station in Prayagraj, following orders from an ADJ POCSO court. The case pertains to allegations of sexual exploitation of minor disciples.

Viral Photo ‘AI-Generated’, Claims Ashutosh

Ashutosh Brahmachari publicly stated that he has “strong evidence” which, he claims, will ensure the accused are sent to jail. He also rejected a viral photograph that allegedly shows him with a police officer, asserting that the image is fake and was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Ashutosh clarified that he is not a victim in the case but an “informant” seeking justice for minors. He described the matter as a “religious fight” and demanded a fair and impartial investigation.

Counter-Allegations and Criminal Record Dispute

Earlier, Swami Avimukteshwaranand had labeled Ashutosh as having a criminal background. In response, Ashutosh challenged the Swami to present certified court records proving any conviction. He termed the circulated list of 21 alleged cases against him as fabricated, stating that police have not verified such claims.

During a recent court hearing, counsel for Mukundanand filed a 104-page affidavit alleging that 27 cases exist against Ashutosh and sought action under Sections 22 and 23 of the POCSO Act, accusing him of publicly revealing victims’ identities. Ashutosh has denied the allegations and requested a personal hearing before the court.

Political Angle and ‘Sanatan Nyay Yatra’

The controversy has also taken a political turn. Ashutosh targeted Akhilesh Yadav and compared Swami Avimukteshwaranand to “Kalanemi.” He alleged that the Swami staged a dharna during the Magh Mela at the behest of a Deputy Chief Minister.

Ashutosh further claimed that a letter has been sent to the Director General of Police seeking an inquiry and alleged that witnesses are being intimidated. He announced plans to launch a “Sanatan Nyay Yatra” to “expose the truth” before the public.

Next Hearing After 13 March

Both sides have filed affidavits against each other in what has now become a high-profile legal and religious dispute. The next hearing in the ADJ POCSO court is scheduled after 13 March, where further arguments are expected to unfold.
