Kota: The ongoing dispute between Jyotishpeeth Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda and the fair administration at the Prayagraj Magh Mela continues to make headlines. The matter continues unabated, and now, Bageshwar Dham Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has responded. Speaking to the media during his ongoing Katha in Kota, Rajasthan, he gave a restrained and balanced statement on the entire matter.
Dhirendra Shastri stated that both parties in this dispute are connected to the Sanatan tradition and are "our own people." Therefore, a solution should be found through mutual dialogue and understanding, rather than confrontation. He emphasized that no action should be taken that would ridicule Sanatan Dharma. He stated clearly that the humor and jokes being used in this entire episode are completely inappropriate and will not benefit anyone.

Dhirendra Shastri stated that Sanatan Dharma is already facing many external and internal challenges. At such a time, it is crucial to avoid mutual conflict and public rhetoric. He appealed to the government and the saint community to sit together and find a middle ground, so that this dispute can be resolved peacefully and a positive message can be sent to society.
Dhirendra Shastri also addressed the youth. He said that today's Gen-Z and Alpha-Beta generations are wasting their precious time engrossed in social media. He appealed to the youth to remain active in real life, spend time with family, and stay connected to the ground. He said that values and social connections are what strengthen society.

Dhirendra Shastri also made important remarks regarding cow care. He said that simply opening cow shelters will not solve the problem. Instead, there is a need to re-adopt the old tradition of "One Hindu, One Cow." He described this as an important part of Sanatan culture.
