The dispute between Jyotishpeeth Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand and the Prayagraj Mela administration continues to escalate. Reacting to the controversy, Bageshwar Dham head Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri appealed for restraint and dialogue.
“A masjid never existed at Lord Ram’s birthplace in Ayodhya. Kar Sevaks demolished the temple, not a Masjid,” Shankaracharya said.
