SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav expresses grief over demise of Prateek Yadav

Prateek Yadav breathed his last at the age of just 38. He was brought to the Civil Hospital in Lucknow around 5:55 AM, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Lucknow: A wave of mourning swept through political corridors on Wednesday morning following the news of the passing of Prateek Yadav, the step-brother of Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Prateek Yadav breathed his last at the age of  38. He was brought to the Civil Hospital in Lucknow around 5:55 AM, where doctors declared him dead.

Akhilesh Yadav Expresses Grief

As soon as the news of Prateek Yadav's sudden demise emerged, a wave of sorrow swept through the Samajwadi family. Deep grief was also evident among SP supporters and leaders. Reacting emotionally to this tragic event, Akhilesh Yadav stated, "The passing of Shri Prateek Yadav Ji is extremely saddening. May God grant peace to the departed soul. Humble tributes."

Prateek Had Been Unwell for Several Days

According to reports, Prateek Yadav had been unwell since April 30. He had been admitted to the hospital a few days prior but had returned home after his health showed signs of improvement.

On Wednesday morning, however, his condition suddenly deteriorated. Upon reaching the Civil Hospital, his driver informed the doctors, "Bhaiya's health has taken a severe turn for the worse."

Prateek Yadav, the youngest son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and Sadhna, was an MBA graduate from the University of Leeds, UK, and a successful real estate developer.

Prateek was the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav and half-brother of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.
