Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has issued orders for the transfer and promotion of senior officers of the Territorial Medical and Health Services cadre. Under this order, many officers have been posted in new districts as Chief Medical Officers (CMO).

What Changes Were Made In New Order?

The Medical Section-2 of the Uttar Pradesh government has reshuffled the deployment of Joint Directors of the Regional Medical and Health Services cadre as well as other senior medical officers on 8 September. Under this reshuffle, medical officers have been given responsibility at new places, and they are expected to relieve themselves without any delay and take charge at their new posting.

1. Dr Radha Vallabh, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Sultanpur has been sent to Mathura as Chief Medical Officer.
2. Dr Bhavanath Pandey, Chief Medical Superintendent, District Joint Hospital, Sant Kabir Nagar has been made Chief Medical Officer, Hardoi.
3. Dr Deepa Singh, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Baghpat has been made Chief Medical Officer, Rampur.
4. Rajendra Prasad, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Maharajganj has been sent to Etah on the post of Chief Medical Officer.
5. Dr Nanku Ram, Senior Consultant, District Women's Hospital, Jalaun has been sent to Azamgarh as Chief Medical Officer.
6. Dr Chandra Prakash, Senior Consultant, District Hospital, Agra has been appointed as Chief Medical Officer, Kushinagar.

All medical officers have been asked to join to the new posting and take charge with immediate effect.

This change has been made with the aim of improving medical services in the state and increasing administrative efficiency.
