UP: Mega reshuffle in State Police, large scale transfers of PPS officers; Full list here

According to the list, several officers posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Circle Officer (CO) have been given new responsibilities.

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Government has effected a major police reshuffle in the state on Friday late night, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

As many as 67 PPS officers have been shifted to further improve the law and order situation in the state. The transfer list was released on Friday night. According to the list, several officers posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Circle Officer (CO) have been given new responsibilities.

All the 67 PPS officers have been promoted to the post of Senior Deputy SP. At the same time, these officers will now get the benefit of Rs 6600 grade pay and senior pay scale. This promotion has been given on the basis of service period and performance.

Earlier they were promoted to Rs 5400 grade pay, and now they will get senior pay scale.

The list of above PPS officers was issued by the State Government on Friday late night. According to sources the promotion of these officers has been done on the basis of their work and service. The promotion will be affected from the date they join their duties.
