Network Operating From Dubai
Police investigation has revealed that Shubham Jaiswal was operating a network of fake Codeine cough syrup in India while sitting in Dubai. Through his gang, restricted and fake cough syrup was being supplied to several states, including Uttar Pradesh. This network is linked to pushing young people into drug addiction and is involved in an illegal business worth crores of rupees.
Passport Cancelled
On the recommendation of the Uttar Pradesh Police, the concerned authority has canceled Shubham Jaiswal's passport. After this action, Shubham's legal status abroad has weakened. Now it will neither be easy for him to travel nor will it be possible for him to hide in Dubai for a long time. Police officials say that this step is considered important in bringing the accused back to India.
Red Corner Notice To Be Issued
The police are now preparing to issue a Red Corner Notice against Shubham Jaiswal. The process is being initiated through Interpol. After the issuance of the Red Corner Notice, Shubham can be arrested in any country and extradited to India. Officials say that formal steps will be taken in this direction soon. Several arrests have already been made.
Several Accused Behind Bar
The Uttar Pradesh Police have already arrested several accused in this case. Consignments of counterfeit codeine cough syrup were recovered from different districts. Shubham Jaiswal's name came up during questioning, after which he was declared the mastermind of the entire racket. Police claim that Shubham was providing funding and managing the supply chain for the entire network.
