UP: Five members of family burnt alive in major accident in Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr: A heart-wrenching road accident has come to light in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, in which five people of the same family died a painful death by burning alive. This horrific incident took place near village Janipur Chandaus of Thana Jahangirabad Kotwali area, where a car went out of control and collided with a culvert. After the collision, a fierce fire broke out in the car, which engulfed the entire vehicle in no time, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

In this accident, five of the six people in the car died on the spot, while a woman was seriously injured. The injured woman was immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where her treatment is going on.

Family Returning From Wedding

Actually, according to the information, all the people in the car were returning to Malviya Nagar in Delhi after attending a wedding ceremony from Sahaswan area of ​​​​Badayun district. There were six people in the car that met with the accident, including Tanveez Ahmed (24 years), Momina (22 years), Zuveer Ali (25 years), Nida (20 years) and two-year-old innocent Zainul. All of them were members of the same family. In the accident, all five of them were burnt to death on the spot. While, the only survivor, 17-year-old Gulnaz, is seriously injured and has been admitted to the hospital.

Police Reached The Spot

On receiving the information about this incident, the local police and fire department teams immediately reached the spot. The fire brigade personnel tried to control the fire, but by then the car was completely burnt. The police sent the bodies for post-mortem and completed the Panchnama proceedings.

Bulandshahr SP Statement

Bulandshahr SP Rural Dr Tejveer Singh said that in the preliminary investigation, high speed is being considered the main reason for the accident. He said that the driver probably lost control of the car, due to which the car collided with the culvert and caught fire. However, the police is conducting a thorough investigation to find out the exact cause of the accident.

This accident has sent a wave of grief across the area. Locals said that the sound of the collision was so loud that people from the vicinity immediately rushed to the spot, but due to the flames, no one was able to save the car riders. The relatives of the deceased are weeping inconsolably. The police have identified the deceased and informed their families.
