A Pakistani currency note was found in the donation box of Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar, raising serious security concerns. The discovery was made during the counting of offerings collected from 18 donation boxes.
Deoghar: A shocking incident has emerged from the Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple in Deoghar, Jharkhand, raising questions about faith as well as security. On March 25th, when the temple's 18 donation boxes were opened, an amount of approximately ₹2 lakh was found. A Pakistani currency note was also recovered, causing a stir.
Godda MP Nishikant Dubey has raised questions about the temple's management and security arrangements. He stated that the temple's security is "left to God," and that no meetings of the temple management committee have been held since 2019. He also stated that despite being a trustee, he is unaware of the arrangements.
Senior priest Durlabh Mishra, calling the incident serious, expressed suspicion that either a foreign devotee had visited the temple or there could be a conspiracy behind it. He said that in his 65 years of experience, he had never seen such a case.
Now there is a demand for a thorough investigation into this entire matter, so that it can be found out how the Pakistani note reached the donation box of the temple.
