New Delhi: A terrifying incident during last week’s severe storms in Uttar Pradesh has drawn widespread attention after a man in Bareilly was reportedly lifted into the air while holding onto a tin shed during powerful winds.

The victim, identified as Nanhe Miyan, was present at a wedding hall in Bareilly district when the storm suddenly intensified on Wednesday evening. According to eyewitness accounts, strong gusts began tearing through temporary structures at the venue, creating panic among people gathered there.

As the winds strengthened, Nanhe Miyan reportedly tried to stop a large tin shed from being blown away. However, the force of the storm ripped the structure loose and carried it into the air while he was still holding onto it.

Eyewitnesses Describe Horrifying Scene

People present at the spot said the incident unfolded within seconds. Witnesses claimed the tin structure rose high above the ground with Nanhe Miyan clinging to it helplessly as strong winds swept across the area.

The shed later crashed down, but the man was reportedly carried some distance further before falling into a nearby field. The shocking visuals and accounts from the scene left local residents stunned.

Officials said Nanhe Miyan suffered serious injuries in the fall. Reports suggest both his arms and legs were fractured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors are continuing his treatment.

Storms and Lightning Cause Massive Damage Across UP
