New Delhi: The third generation of the Hyundai Creta (2027 model) has been spotted testing. Its design appears more boxy and upright than before, giving it a stronger road presence.
The new Creta could be larger and wider than the current model. It could feature a sloping roofline, a larger roof spoiler, and new 18-inch alloy wheels. Shorter overhangs will improve both road grip and style.
The interior will be more premium. Inside, the cabin is expected to be completely new and luxurious. Black leatherette seats, improved headrests, and more space are expected. It will be more comfortable for long journeys.
The new Creta is expected to feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system and connected car technology. Updated ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) safety features may also be available, making driving safer.
It may be available with 1.5-liter petrol, turbocharged petrol, and diesel engine options. Most notably, it may also feature strong hybrid technology, which will improve mileage. If this happens, it could be Hyundai's first hybrid SUV.
The new Creta is expected to launch in early 2027. Upon launch, it will compete with vehicles like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Sierra, and Honda Elevate.
The new Hyundai Creta could bring significant upgrades not only in design but also in technology and mileage. With hybrid features and a premium look, it is poised to regain its leadership in the SUV segment.
