New Delhi: After a long wait, Renault India has launched its much-awaited SUV, the new Duster, in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price starts at ₹10.49 lakh and goes up to ₹18.49 lakh for the top variant. With new design and features, this SUV is poised to directly compete with popular models like the Hyundai Creta.

Strong Design and Premium Look

The new Duster's design has been made bolder and more muscular than before. It features an attractive front fascia with square wheel arches, body cladding, and LED lighting. 17- to 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails give it a premium SUV look.

Engine and Performance Options

The Renault Duster is offered with two turbo-petrol engine options - 1.0L and 1.3L. It comes with a choice of 6-speed manual, CVT, and dual-clutch automatic transmissions. The company will soon launch a 1.8L hybrid variant, which is already in high demand.

Variants and Pricing

The new Duster is offered in Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic trims. The base variant starts at ₹10.49 lakh, while the top variant goes up to ₹18.49 lakh. Prices vary depending on the features and engine options.

Wealth of features

The base Duster variant comes with LED headlights, a 7-inch driver display, power windows, and over 35 safety features. The top variant offers advanced options like a 10.25-inch display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and 17 ADAS features.

High Demand for Hybrid Version

Interestingly, the 2026 model of the hybrid Duster has already been sold out. Bookings for 2027 deliveries will open around Diwali 2026. Demand is particularly high in metro cities.

Company's future plans

Renault aims to regain its strong foothold in the SUV segment. In the near future, the company is also preparing to launch the 7-seater Duster (likely named Bigster) and the Bridger SUV.

The new Duster is poised to make a big splash in the Indian market with its style, power, and features.
