New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled a special anime-inspired version of its Urban Cruiser Hyryder at Anime India 2026, featuring a wrap based on the globally popular series Attack on Titan. The showcase is part of the company’s efforts to connect with younger, pop culture-driven audiences.

Toyota has partnered with Anime India 2026 to present a pop culture-led automotive display, highlighting its focus on immersive brand experiences for Gen Z consumers. The initiative reflects the automaker’s push to blend mobility with contemporary entertainment trends.

Hyryder becomes centrepiece at Delhi event

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will serve as the highlight of Toyota’s display at the event, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi on June 6–7. The vehicle features a themed wrap inspired by Attack on Titan, one of Japan’s most popular anime series.

Other Toyota models also get anime-themed wraps

Along with the Hyryder, Toyota will also showcase anime-inspired versions of the Glanza and Urban Cruiser Taisor. The themed designs aim to resonate with anime fans and create a visually engaging experience at the venue.

Interactive fan activities planned at venue

The Toyota zone will include multiple engagement activities such as quizzes, spin-the-wheel games, and stamp rallies, designed to attract visitors and enhance participation at Anime India 2026.

Organised by Animation Express, Anime India is a multi-city convention focusing on anime, manga, and gaming culture. The event has previously attracted over 60,000 attendees across editions, reflecting its rising popularity among India’s youth and creative communities.
