Patna: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's visit to Bihar has intensified regarding the upcoming assembly elections. According to sources, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is expected to visit Bihar after September 30th.

He will be accompanied by other election commissioners and will review the state's election preparations in Patna. It is anticipated that the dates for the Bihar Assembly elections may be announced soon after this visit.

Final Voter List and Possible Dates

It has been reported that the final voter list will be released on September 30th after the special revision process. Only after this date can the election dates be announced.

According to the Election Commission's plan, this time the elections in Bihar may be held between Durga Puja and Diwali. That is, voting could take place between October 2nd and October 29th.

The Bihar Assembly has a total of 243 seats. The NDA (132 seats) is currently in power, with the BJP holding 78, the JDU (45), HAM (Secular) (4), RJD rebels (4), and an independent (1) being an NDA ally.
