Bureaucracy: 16 IAS Officers transferred as SP Goyal returns to Lucknow; Commissioners of Bareilly, Lucknow, and Prayagraj changed

The state government transferred 16 IAS officers late Tuesday night while making administrative changes. This major action has been taken as soon as Chief Secretary SP Goyal returned to Lucknow.

Lucknow: The state government transferred 16 IAS officers on Tuesday while making administrative changes. This major action has been taken as soon as Chief Secretary SP Goyal returned to Lucknow.

The most important changes have been made at the divisional commissioner level. The divisional commissioners of Bareilly, Lucknow and Prayagraj have been changed. The commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj have been changed. IAS Roshan Jacob, who was the commissioner of Lucknow division, has been removed. Vijay Vishwas Pant has been appointed as the new commissioner in his place. Till now Vijay Vishwas Pant was the commissioner of Prayagraj division.  After this reshuffle, new officers have been assigned responsibilities in all three divisions.

Vijay Vishwas Pant was removed from the post of Divisional Commissioner of Prayagraj and made Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow.

Dr. Roshan Jacob was removed from the post of Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow and made Secretary, Food Safety and Drug Administration Department and Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration.

Saumya Agarwal was removed from the post of Divisional Commissioner of Bareilly and made Divisional Commissioner of Prayagraj.

Anamika Singh was removed from the post of Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department and made Divisional Commissioner of Bareilly.

Suhas L.Y. was removed from the post of Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department and kept in the same post and given additional charge of Director General, Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard.

Chaitra V. was removed from the post of Director General, Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard and made Director General, AYUSH.

Sanjay Kumar Khatri was removed from the post of Additional Chief Executive Officer of Noida and made Chief Executive Officer-in-Charge, Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority.

Kanchan Verma was removed from the post of Director General, School Education and made Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue Council.

Monica Rani was removed from the post of Special Secretary, Basic Education Department and made Director General in-charge, School Education.

Rajesh Kumar-2 was removed from the post of Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration and made Director General, Tourism.

Kinjal Singh was removed from the post of Director General, Medical Education and made Transport Commissioner.

Brijesh Narayan Singh was removed from the post of Transport Commissioner and made Secretary, General Administration Department.

Manisha Trighatia was removed from the post of Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue Council and made Secretary, Women Welfare and Child Development and Nutrition Department.

B. Chandrakala was removed from the post of Secretary, Women Welfare and Child Development and Nutrition Department and made Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department and Chief Executive Officer, UP Clean Air Management Project Authority.

Aparna U. was removed from the post of Secretary, Medical Education Department and kept on the same post and given additional charge of Director General, Medical Education.

Sanjay Kumar Roop was removed from the post of Principal Secretary, Medical Education Department and relieved from duty.
