New Delhi: More than 20 IAS and DANICS officers have been reshuffled in Delhi late on Wednesday night. These sudden transfers have created quite a stir within CM Rekha Gupta's administration. However, this administrative reshuffle is being described as a measure taken to improve operational efficiency.
1) Senior IAS Prashant Goyal has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary for Food and Civil Supplies; he has also been assigned the charge of CMD for both the DFC and DSCSC.

2)Dr. Narendra Kumar has been appointed as the Finance Commissioner.
