Uttar Pradesh announces major administrative reshuffle; Transfers 27 senior PCS officers

According to the list released, the PCS officers transferred include additional district magistrates (ADMs), municipal commissioners, city magistrates, and secretaries of development authorities in several districts.

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday took another major administrative step, transferring 27 senior PCS (Provincial Civil Service) officers. The state government had previously transferred 46 IAS officers, including several district magistrates and divisional commissioners.

According to the list released, the PCS officers transferred include additional district magistrates (ADMs), municipal commissioners, city magistrates, and secretaries of development authorities in several districts.

1. Arun Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Barabanki, has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of Moradabad Division.

2. Nirankar Singh, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gorakhpur, has been appointed as the ADM of Barabanki.

3. Atul Kumar, Sub-District Magistrate, Jalaun, has been appointed as the Additional Municipal Commissioner of Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation.

4. Pankaj Verma, Additional District Magistrate (B/R), Baghpat, has been appointed as the Secretary of Moradabad Development Authority.

5. Vineet Kumar Upadhyay, City Magistrate, Mirzapur, has been appointed as the Additional District Magistrate of Baghpat.

6. Avinash Kumar, Sub-District Magistrate, Mirzapur, has been appointed as the City Magistrate of Mirzapur.

7. Kaushal Kumar, Sub-District Magistrate, Ayodhya, has been appointed as the Additional District Magistrate of Ayodhya.

8. Rajkumar Dwivedi, Special Officer, Revenue Council, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of Vindhyachal Division, Mirzapur.
9. Vivek Kumar, Principal Manager, Cooperative Sugar Mills Association, Lucknow, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner, Varanasi Division, Varanasi.

10. Govind Maurya, Sub-District Magistrate, Bareilly, has been appointed as Principal Manager, Cooperative Sugar Mills Association, Lucknow.

11. Amit Kumar, Sub-District Magistrate, Varanasi, has been appointed as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Varanasi.

12. Ashish Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate (V/R), Kannauj, has been appointed as Secretary, Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority, Mathura.

13. Vijay Kumar Mishra, Sub-District Magistrate, Kannauj, has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate, Judicial, Kannauj.

14. Devendra Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Kannauj, has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate, Finance and Revenue, Kannauj.

15. Vikas Ghar, Sub-District Magistrate, Ayodhya, has been appointed as Assistant Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Saharanpur.
