Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government took an important administrative decision on 2 September 2025 and transferred 13 senior PCS (Provincial Civil Services) officers across the state. This step has been taken with the aim of making the administrative system more effective and increasing efficiency.
This reshuffle includes Additional District Magistrates (ADMs), Sub-District Magistrates (SDMs), Municipal Commissioners, and other senior officers of many districts. Let us know who has been posted where:
Ram Prakash: Made Additional Chief Executive Officer in Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority from ADM (Finance and Revenue), Mahoba.
Kunwar Pankaj: Removed from Chief Revenue Officer of Prayagraj and became ADM (Finance and Revenue), Mahoba.
Naveen Chandra: Transferred from SDM, Unnao, to the post of ADM (Land Records), Meerut.
Jyoti Rai: Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Directorate, Lucknow, to ADM (Finance and Revenue), Balrampur.
Pradeep Kumar: Removed from ADM, Balrampur, and sent to the post of Deputy Director in the Animal Husbandry Directorate, Lucknow.
Sunand Sudhakaran: New Additional Commissioner, Varanasi Division.
Rakesh Singh: ADM (City Trans Gomti), Lucknow to ADM (Finance and Revenue), Sultanpur.
Rajkumar Mittal: New ADM (City Trans Gomti), Lucknow.
Pawan Kumar: Appointed as Chief Manager in Cooperative Sugar Mill Association, Lucknow.
Raj Kumar Singh Yadav: Removed from SDM, Mahoba, to ADM (Judicial), Barabanki.
Mohd. Qamar: Removed from Municipal Corporation Jhansi and made Deputy Director in Women Welfare Directorate, Lucknow.
Rahul Kumar Yadav: New Additional Municipal Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Jhansi.
Anjali Gangwar: Removed from SDM, Kasganj, to become Chief Manager in the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mill Association, Lucknow.
The government has directed all the transferred officers to take charge of their new posts with immediate effect. It has been clarified in the order that these changes are necessary for the smooth functioning of the administration, and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.
