New Delhi: Gold prices have seen a huge jump in the last few days and as the Israel-Iran conflict escalated, the yellow metal was seen making a new record every day, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the price of gold reached a new record level of Rs 1,01,078 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), but suddenly it started falling and within no time it became cheaper by more than Rs 1400.
Talking about the price of gold in the domestic market, according to the website of Indian Bullion Jewelers Association IBJA.COM, the rate of 24 carat 10 gram gold was Rs 99,370. If we look at the price of other quality gold, then 22 carat gold (Rs 96,990 per 10 grams), 20 carat gold (Rs 88,440 per 10 grams), 18 carat gold (Rs 80,490 per 10 grams) and 14 carat gold rate was Rs 64,100 per 10 grams.
Gold Slipped On MCX
The price of gold was seen gaining momentum on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX Gold Rate) on Monday and the futures price of gold with expiry on August 5 reached Rs 1,01,078 per 10 grams, which is its lifetime high level. After this, the decline in Gold Price started and it kept falling rapidly. At the time of writing the news, the price of gold on MCX fell by 1.42 percent or Rs 1426 to Rs 98,850 per 10 grams.
