The NSE Nifty 50 opened 0.74% higher at 25,344.15, while the BSE Sensex rose 0.67% to 82,459.66. Within minutes of market opening, the Nifty was trading 0.60% higher, while the Sensex was up over 507 points by 9:15 am.
Several stocks were on investors' radar today. Pre-market trading saw strong activity in Eternal, with over 3.34 million shares transacted. Shares of IndiGo, Waaree Energies, and Coforge were also in focus.
