New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki earned ₹3,879 crore profit this quarter, 4% higher than last year, even after spending ₹594 crore once because of new labour rules.

Maruti Suzuki India reported a 4% increase in consolidated net profit for the December quarter of FY26, reaching ₹3,879 crore. The growth was slightly affected by a one-time ₹594 crore provision due to the new Labour Codes. Last year’s net profit for the same quarter was ₹3,727 crore.

The company’s total revenue rose to ₹49,904 crore, up from ₹38,764 crore in Q3 of the previous fiscal year, reflecting strong market recovery after the GST reforms. On a standalone basis, net sales reached ₹47,534 crore, a record for the company.

Record Domestic Sales

Maruti achieved its highest-ever quarterly domestic sales of 5,64,669 units, an increase of 97,676 units compared to Q3 last year. The small car segment, benefiting from the 18% GST bracket, contributed 68,328 units of this increase.
