These rates, issued by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), are determined based on the price of crude oil in the international market and the dollar-rupee exchange rate. This directly impacts the pockets of ordinary people, making it essential to stay updated on daily prices.

Today's Rates in Uttar Pradesh Cities

On April 12, 2026, there was a slight difference in petrol and diesel prices in major cities of Uttar Pradesh. In Lucknow, petrol is selling at ₹94.70 and diesel at ₹87.83 per liter. In Varanasi, petrol is selling at ₹95.02 and diesel at ₹88.20, while in Prayagraj, petrol is selling at ₹95.71 and diesel at ₹88.99.

Additionally, petrol was priced at ₹94.18 and diesel at ₹87.17 in Mathura, ₹94.30 and ₹87.33 in Agra, ₹94.97 and ₹87.09 in Aligarh. Ghaziabad saw petrol at ₹94.58 and diesel at ₹87.67, and Noida at ₹95.05 and ₹88.19.
