Sambhal: Javed Habib, a renowned hair stylist and businessman in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, has been embroiled in a major controversy. A case of fraud and criminal conspiracy has been filed against him at the Raisatti police station. It is alleged that he defrauded investors of crores of rupees through his company, FLC (Follicle Global Company).

People associated with the company collected money from investors through online transactions. An investigation revealed that the company had not paid any investors, nor had any refund process been initiated.
In 2023, Javed Habib arrived in Sambhal with his son. He held a large event promoting the FLC company. He encouraged attendees to invest in the company. It is reported that over 150 people invested lakhs of rupees in the company at that time.
However, when investors did not receive any profits or refunds over time, they complained to the police. Police subsequently began investigating the matter and, upon finding sufficient evidence of fraud, filed an FIR.
Victims claim that Javed Habib and his associates made tall claims, promising them substantial returns on their investments. Some have submitted documents, receipts, and online transaction details to the police. Police say the investigation has revealed that the FLC company collected money from investors but did not provide any returns.

Sambhal police have registered a case against Javed Habib and his associates under sections of fraud and criminal conspiracy. The case is currently under investigation, and police are trying to determine how much money was collected from investors and where the money was spent.
This is not the first time Javed Habib has been embroiled in controversy. Previously, a video of him at an event went viral, in which he was seen spitting in a woman's hair. He faced widespread criticism at that time as well.
Now, after his name surfaced in the chit fund scam, he is once again in the headlines. Police say that as the investigation progresses, the entire scam will be revealed.
