Maharashtra: 4 children killed as truck hits while crossing road in Gadchiroli

Gadchiroli: A sad incident occurred in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, where four minor children lost their lives and two suffered severe injuries in a road accident involving a truck.

The unfortunate victims were hit by the truck. An accident happened as the kids were walking across the street and got hit by a fast-moving truck. Right now, things are quite stressful in that location after the event occurred.

The police say that the event happened in the middle of the day. Immediately, the community members swiftly took the children to the hospital, yet tragically, four didn't survive. "Care for the injured individuals is being provided." The authorities have taken control of the truck and filed a report against the driver for their actions.

Maharashtra CM Expressed Grief

Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, expressed grief about the unfortunate event and extended his sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones. "This is truly a tragic and unfortunate event."

We stand with the grieving families. The hurt individuals are receiving care at the General Hospital in Gadchiroli. Due to his serious illness, a helicopter has been organized to fly him to Nagpur, as the Chief Minister announced. The government of the state is providing a financial aid of four lakh rupees to the families who have lost their loved ones.

Another Incident

Today on Thursday, another unfortunate incident happened in Parbhani of Maharashtra. Two females lost their lives. As reported by the police, the two women, during their morning stroll, were unfortunately struck by a fast-moving, unidentified car.

Tragically, the impact resulted in their deaths instantly. The accident happened roughly at 5:30 am on the Gangakhed-Parbhani road. The incident happened on the road, approximately 1.5 kilometers from Daithana village, according to a representative from the Daithana police station. The women who passed away have been recognized as Pushpabai Kachve (age 69) and Anjanabai Shisode (age 55).
