New Delhi: Bhoot Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, is maintaining a steady run at the box office, crossing Rs 127.37 crore in worldwide collections by its first week. The horror-comedy, directed by Priyadarshan, has shown resilience despite receiving mixed critical responses.

The film’s consistent performance indicates strong audience interest, particularly in urban centres and multiplex circuits.

Domestic Collections Remain Stable

In India, the film recorded a net collection of Rs 6.80 crore on its first Wednesday, taking its total domestic earnings to Rs 89.45 crore. The film has continued to perform steadily across weekdays, suggesting positive word-of-mouth and repeat viewership.

While Jolly LLB 3 earned around Rs 5.5 crore and Rs 6.5 crore on its first Monday and Tuesday respectively, Bhoot Bangla posted higher figures on corresponding days. This marks a notable turnaround for the actor, who has faced a series of underperforming releases in recent years.

Global Milestones Within Reach

With its worldwide total already surpassing Rs 120 crore, the film is now approaching the lifetime collections of other recent releases such as Kesari Chapter 2 and Sky Force.
