Mumbai:  Well-known actor Boman Irani is all set to make a grand debut at the prestigious 78th Cannes Film Festival with film 'Tanvi: The Great', helmed by veteran actor-filmmaker Anupam Kher, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The film will be screened at the esteemed festival, positioning itself as a pivotal project in Irani's cinematic repertoire, which spans over two decades of nuanced and compelling performances.

In 'Tanvi: The Great', Irani plays the role of Ustad Raza Sahab, a legendary virtuoso of classical music.
The film is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17.

Speaking about his Cannes debut, Boman Irani stated, “To be at Cannes, representing Indian cinema on such a prestigious global platform with a film as heartfelt as 'Tanvi: The Great', is an honour beyond words.

"Playing Raza Saab, a musical legend, has been one of the most fulfilling roles of my career. Collaborating with Anupam Kher—an artist I have immense respect and admiration for—made the experience even more special.
